WE are looking for multi-faceted, dedicated individuals who are prepared to commit to a 2 year term (with a max of 3 consecutive terms).
The minimum hourly commitment we require of our Board members is:
Monthly Board Meeting (virtual) - 2 hours
Annual AGM, Planning & Meeting - Approx 8hrs
Bi-annual planning meeting - Approx 8hrs
In addition, WE act as the key ambassadors for our organization. As such, WE expect our Board members to:
Participate in one or more committees and their respective meetings
Attend our cornerstone events
Actively participate in fundraising efforts by leveraging personal & professional networks
Understand our mission & strategic plan and provide valuable input when needed
When applicable, assist in setting policies that guide our organization.
Prepare in advance and actively participate in our meetings and contribute insights
